I got a vasectomy in the middle of April.. I’ve had sex and masturbated too.. total 30+. When I ejaculate it just as the same as before.. Should I be worried that it didn’t work.. And does ejaculation become clear with no semen in it???
Dr. Edward KarpmanThe fact that there is no noticeable change in the quality of your semen after a vasectomy is nothing to be alarmed about. Most men do not notice any change in semen quality because sperm only make up a small percentage (5%) of the ejaculate volume. The remainder of the volume comes from the prostate and seminal vesicles which are unaffected by the vasectomy. In general, people do not notice any change in volume, consistency, odor or taste of the semen after a vasectomy.
